We Believe Aging Should Be Curious, Creative & Connected.
Aging is Cool creates wellness and enrichment programs that support whole-person aging through movement, creativity, lifelong learning, brain health, and meaningful social connection.
We partner with senior living communities, active adult communities, organizations, and individuals to deliver experiences older adults genuinely look forward to.
Older Adults Deserve More Than Busywork
We believe older adults deserve programs that are intellectually engaging, creatively fulfilling, physically supportive, and grounded in respect.
That means no infantilizing activities, outdated stereotypes, or simply “passing the time.” Instead, we create experiences that encourage curiosity, participation, confidence, and connection.
From chair fitness and brain health programs to creative workshops, discussion groups, virtual reality experiences, and lifelong learning classes, our goal is simple: help older adults continue growing, exploring, and engaging with the world around them.

Meet Amy & Damien
Aging is Cool was founded in 2016 by Amy and Damien Temperley, whose shared passion for creativity, lifelong learning, and community connection helped shape the organization’s unique approach to aging.
With backgrounds in aging services, wellness programming, education, and community development, they created Aging is Cool to challenge outdated ideas about growing older and to build programs that feel modern, meaningful, and genuinely engaging.
Today, Aging is Cool partners with communities and organizations across multiple states, serving older adults through thoughtfully designed experiences that support both wellbeing and quality of life.
We Don’t Just Fill Calendars — We Create Experiences That Matter.
Our programs are designed to help older adults stay active, connected, creative, and engaged at every stage of aging.
